800mm x 800mm Vacuum Table free to a good home

Post by Not your average framer »

I busy clearing my back room to make enough space to accomodate a Gunner F1-hybrid. So my vacuum table has to go. It's very useful when cleaning or repairing fragile artworks on paper, where the wet strength of the paper is a concern. Also the vacuum holds paper flat while it dries and therefore prevents cockling while drying.

Chemical ceaning and and flushing out chemicals afterwards is easy too, as clean water can be applied to, or sprayed onto the artwork and sucked through using the vacuum. The vacuum will also dry the paper as the air flow through the paper will draw away any remaining water in the paper.

It's free to anyone who will collect and take it away and it runs off a vacuum cleaner. External size is: 840mm x 840mm x 130mm. It stands on any convenient bench top during use and can be stored on it's side when not in use.

My vacuum table has been offered a new home and therefore is no longer available.
