Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
For sale - our now redundant HGP 260. Great working condition, comes with 3-4m of SRP & 6m of adhesive roll. Not used for the last 18 months, but just cleaned & had running and works as good as new. Not heavily used, only aprox. 200 hours at a guess, but does have a few surface marks on the painted area of the 'lid' from having a protective sheet of MDF with carpet tiles under slid on & off. Glass panels perfect. Located central Leicester, photos available, all works as it should, timer, temp settings, vacuum manual adjust, etc, plug it in & earn.
£1000
Please call Mark on 07599 023310 or 0116 2837727 for further details
full receipt given

"Redundant" - what a great selling point
Does anyone need a "redundant" machine??? OUCH!!!
Try the Oxford Theasaurus for a more descriptive term for a great machine you don't have a use for
if it doesn't sell (not much chance of that) - please call me & we can discuss your options

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
BUT - Seriously £1k is a "mega bargain" - so why the cheap sale??? Please give some background - I have forum members on the look out for a genuine good machine at a good price - as new ones cost over £3.5K & we are in tough times - so come one - let's "sell it"

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
very good price!! good luck with the sale...sure it wont be around long! ....i would not be without mine for sure
Steve ..quick question, i can understand putting a bench over the top of press especially if short of space but to " Protect it" ...there aint much chance of that glass breaking is there? not that i would ever get on top of the machine to change the light bulbs ....ever

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
Paul - the glass is 6mm - toughened - a nail punch in the corner wouldn't do the glass any good though

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
There is less talk at the moment over the Greek crisis!! This one was semi built in with the MDF top so that the area can be used as a regular workbench. You may say that the top layer of glass is tough, but thanks to 'sods' law, there is always a chance?????????? It is cheap, I would like the space, but I am set on the price as we are not selling for financial reasons, just that it isn't used. The paint issue is only cosmetic.

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
Paint work is definately not an issue - this is a workshop machine - they all get a "little wear & tear".
I wouldn't move on the price either £1k is an absolute steal - a proper bargain!!!
I have spoken to three people this morning who were all looking for a HGP260 - but all three have since got themselves fixed up - "sod's law" in action again
I will keep this machine in mind as I do get calls every week - please post if it goes in the meantime

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
is there something so special about a hot press?
(please don't be insulted, yust wondering)
i have a framers corner lamina, about 110-150 cm i think, with glass plate, for sale for years, i would be more than happy with 1000 eur
for the moment, they are for sale for 2000 eur, for 3 presses, one big one, and 2 sallmetal, 60-80 and 90-120 or something like that
all hot models
it is not realy a big succes

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
Had a few calls yesterday, so here's some answers:
From off all night to -0.8 bar or -25 inHg in 13.2 seconds, can't read the serial number as the number was hand writen with what looks like a sharpie or similar, and not pressed like a VIN plate. You will need a clear space of at least 54 inches wide by 46 inches deep for it to fit comfortably. It is 6.5 inches tall. Transport wise, it arrived in it's current location in the back of a vauxhall zafira, but please check your vehicle first- our works 'van' is a 2007 saab 9-5 estate (size of a small canal boat) and it will NOT fit between the rear inner arches.. Finally,. it is very heavy - you will need three people at a guess to move it safely, as my back is as good as an ashtray on a motorbike at present. Have also got the original paperwork somewhere (wife says she has seen it and that i must be dumb to loose it...) and will endeavour to find it asap.
As usual, any questions, please ask.
Mark.

Re: Hot Press HGP 260 vacuum press
Have had a few more calls regarding possible delivery.
Raf - 07837 268705
We have used Raf before to move expensive items, the most recent being a £5k Olivetti industry size lazer copier,
which he did perfectly and also supplied an assistant as the weight was tremendous. We have found him ultra reliable,
and very reasonable. Anyone can deliver something, but Raf takes the time to care. I have spoken to him regarding this,
feel free to call him with a delivery postcode for a price.
