Hi all,
Wondering if anyone knows of a good supplier of hardwood for carving & gilding? I'm looking for someone who can supply planed lengths, in small quantities, for me to rout etc to make my own profiles.
Up until now I've used obeche from Rose & Hollis, but can't find many people who can supply unmoulded lengths.
Also, has anyone had luck using other hardwoods for carving & gilding?
Thanks,
Graham

I agree with Ricky
Dont be put of by the fairly basic website, give them a call, they are very friendly and helpful they will make you virtually anything in any wood you like. even in fairly small quantities
