Slight "lip" of top of minerva mouldings

Post by Bagel Framer »

Hi,

Currently I'm getting a slight raised lip on the top of minerva mouldings (Wessex's POL-4003) which I've never had before.

My circular saw has an 80 tooth blade and I'm cutting the mouldings very quickly so as to avoid plastic dust build up.

Has anyone else had a similar problem - filing the edge flat isn't going to help as that will ruin the finish as you can appreciate.

Thanks........!

Wessex POL 4003 is not a Minerva moulding.

Minerva is the name given to synthetic mouldings sold by Lion.

The Wessex POL range is Polcore distributed by Mainline Mouldings. Have you tried them for help?
