Gummed tape 'wetter'

Anyone got a gummed tape wetting unit that is surplus to requirement?

Not found the need for one yet - kitchen sponge in bowl of water works for me, drag the tape over the sponge - wet tape, no mess and don't have to find a storage space for it. :D

Different if you've got hundreds to do though.

Have a look at commercial stationary suppliers. Not wishing to do down our trade suppliers but I got mine from Slingsbys at considerably less.

With gummed paper tape being a quarter of the price of self adhesive I would never go back and it looks far better.

If you use polyprop wrap, this is also cheaper from Rajapack

I did look at Rajapack and although their price was lower their delivery charge was very high and so Slingsbys came out cheaper.
