Hello.
I am looking for work experience paid or un-paid to gain skills as a picture framer.
I currently work In a large auction house in Central london, in a hands on role, with the art works.
I have previously worked for the royal collection, with the oil paintings conservators and art handling team. It was here that I learnt many conservation issues with frames and paintings. I also carried out minor conservation work on antique frames and I carried out some gilding conservation.
I am interested into moving into a picture framing role. I am very passionate about art and it is my major interest.
I would be very grateful if somebody could contact me if you can offer me some work experience so I can move into this field. Preferably in London or Herts/Essex border.
My full CV is available upon request.
Many Thanks
Framing work experience wanted.

Re: Framing work experience wanted.
The Royal Academy advertised for a trainee last year. Might be worth contacting them in case there is a possibility of any future positions becoming available.
