Polyfiller mezzotint

Post by Not your average framer »

A customer has just brought in a rather nice large old signed and numbered mezzotint print to be reglazed, etc. Unfortunately there were two or three worm holes in the print and the mount, which a member of the customers family has filled with a very generous application of polyfiller applied to the front of both mount and print.

What more can one say?

Yep, good stuff that polyfilla. Tubes are standing by to foil the exit of any emerging pesky insect.

Cabinet makers best friend too. Ideal for filling the holes prior to a fine french polish! :)
