Stretcher Bars

Post by guzzijim »

Landlady of my local hotel has just come back from Cuba with a rolled up oil painting, she always does this on her trips abroad.

My problem.
I normally buy my stretcher bars from Lion usually as part of a larger order, thereby exceeding minimum order charge.

Yesterday I asked them the cost of sending me one set of bars, £30 +bars!! when I asked " do your charge that much for your chop service" I was told "that is a bespoke service", different pricing policy.

So who else holds a stock of precut stretcher bars and will just charge a reasonable amount for postage?
