Does anyone know the code and supplier for this moulding

Post by birdman »

We recently bought a job lot of moulding where we were able to select the lengths we wanted. Amongst the batch we took was some moulding that we have not been able to identify. It has a code on the label but not like anything we have come across before. It may be that it is moulding for contract framers, because it was being sold off by the administrator of a company that has now gone out of business. The label identifies it as 496-001-TIRAS.

Here are a couple of shots of it:

Please don't go out of your way trying to identify it but if you do know we would be interested.

Many thanks,

Rolf

It could be from Enrique Lopez - I've used mouldings from them with this profile but not that colour.

Thanks Framerpicture,

Yep, you are right, I've just noticed that name on the label. Do you know the UK supplier?

We have used some of it on shop stock prints. This landscape of "Los Glaciares" looks OK in it. It's about 5' wide x 2' high.

OK, thanks I'll keep that in mind for if we need any more once we run out.
