The joints didn’t line up perfectly, but the discrepancy was acceptable.

I thought this explained it, then I realised he was sticking it into the frame, not his arm.

He didn't need to stick it in his arm he was inhaling the fumes :-)

That is absolutely fabulous. Mrs D and I had tears running down our faces.

All we need now is a masterclass from him in Swept frame production to complete our knowledge.

Now where is that Jigsaw.

When I had a books and prints shop in Newton Abbot, there was a guy running another shop who insisted that he could cut mounts on his bandsaw.

I've seen a few mounts that could have cut on a bandsaw. :giggle: Maybe he did 'em.

All you need to cut mounts is a stanley knife (sharp blade preferably) a keen eye and a steady hand :giggle: :giggle:

A lady asked about framing a dress. (A little one that she wore when she was a child). I said yes.... but it would be quite expensive and I couldn't do it for a few weeks. She said "well maybe I'll buy a cheap frame from IKEA or somewhere and put it in that." Right. Take the back off - put in dress - replace back - sit on it - jump up and down on it - bring it round to me and complain.
