A customer brought his 40 year old teddy bear in so it could be preserved within a frame unit (the bear is about 9" high and about 6" wide)- at this stage we are contemplating sitting the bear on a timber base and using an acrylic case to provide full visual of the bear - we used this method with 2 maori dolls some years ago - see our summer 2004 newsletter at www.framecraft.com.au
Any ideas on how you would frame such a piece?

Probably stitch with a matching thread where needed Ross.
Give me a call if you want a convex glass for that all round vision.
Will last much longer than acrylic, and we can apply our SunblokUV to the inside of the glass to block 96% UV.
Very important if the client wants to keep for a long while, maybe hand down, etc.
