I am in the throes of selling one of my retail framing shops and after happily accepting all of the figures the buyer asked 'How many frames do you make in a week?' Quite honestly I did not have a clue.
In all the years the business has been running I cannot remember actually recording the number of frames made in one week ( to me the turnover is more important).
How many of you can actually record the number of frames made
( excluding your volume trade orders)?
How many frames do you make in a week?
I should imagine that anyone with a POS system can just press a few buttons and bingo!
I don't, but I have all my order books from day one with date started and finished on the front of each, it would be easy to count the amount of frames per book and divide by the amount of days each book lasted, which we do from time to time.
Also went through a phase of entering the days jobs into the PC when we got home each day but got fed up of it!
