Hi,
I've done framing as a hobby, using hobby kit, but am now looking to do it on a part time basis due to early retirement. I'm a keen photographer and the framing I've done has either been for my photos or for my wife who's a keen painter.
I'm based near York and am looking to buy a Morso F, an underpinner something like a Cassesse, and a good mount cutter along the lines of a Keencut.
Like to hear from you if you have any kit for sale, and would welcome any advice.
Many thanks
Bailey

You are on the right track with the the 'big three' you have mentioned. Buy quality and you wont go far wrong. Don't forget some of the smaller hand tools such as point drivers and glass cutters, tape dispensers etc. although you may well have those, It all adds up. ebay can be a source of kit but perhaps a little risky if you are not familliar with items like the Morso. Members of this forum will probably come up with what you are looking for and some of the suppliers do carry used equipment. I got mine from Ashworth and Thompson. (http://www.ashworthandthompson.co.uk/content.php), Framing Equipment (http://www.framersequipment.co.uk/) and Wessex (http://www.wessexpictures.com/) all carry used stuff and I'm sure there are others.
Don't feel shy in asking lots of questions here. No such thing as a silly question.
