Had one of these, when I first started and it also cuts mountboard. The mountboard blades aren't cheap, but they are good quality and last a good while.

As the blades become blunt, they can be saved for cutting CorriCor type backing boards.

I was able to get an extra mountboard cutting tool post from Lion which I used with blades which were still usable for cutting CorriCor, etc.

Hi Mark,

I'm very pleased with it. I got it up on the wall this morning and have been cutting glass with great results.

I have had a bit of a scout around the cutter and would like to ask if the blades in the link I've posted below fit this machine?

I didn't think it did the board cutting at all so will be even more impressed if it does, and even more so if it can do perspex!

I hope the link works.

Cheers

That's the blades, but like I said they ain't cheap. So as they get too blunt for mountboard, keep them for cutting CorriCor, etc. Lion used to have some spare parts for this machine, so it might be work checking if they have a spare mountboard cutting tool post. This won't be in their catalogue, so you have to ask their machinery expert.

If they haven't got one, try the other suppliers. You'll find one somewhere!

Then you can have one tool post for cutting mountboard and one for cutting CorriCor, etc.

BTW, these machines go on for ever!
