Brevetti Prisma CE Mitre Saw

Post by Yo B »

I bought a Brevetti Prisma mitre saw second hand from a framer who closed down. I've managed to get just about everything set up, but having aproblem changing the blades.
Is there a a lock on the nut? I've put a hex key in to stop the blade turning, but cannot loosen the nut to remove the blade. I didn't get any tools with the machine :(
Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a good soaking with WD-40?

You probably already know this but, One side is a right hand thread and the other side is a left hand thread.
