Just watched episode of Only Fools for the umpteenth time. Preceded by the Two Ronnies. Great stuff, but not exactly new.
Looking though the schedules I can't spot anything spectacular.
Great if you like Steven Fry though. Apparently he makes appearances in 189 progs over the festive period.
I know this 'cos there was a guide in the paper on how to avoid him.

I've got loads of late-night stuff I've recorded to work my way through.
If you want something a bit different, listen to BBC Radio 6 music at 1pm on Boxing day - the show is being presented by Bradley Wiggins and Paul Weller.

TV carp?
You need Total Fishing with Matt Hayes, Quest TV, Channel 38 on Freeview, 12.00 - 13.00 most days.
My fishing fix while I can't get out on the river bank in this carp weather.

If it's carp weather, shouldn't you be out there trying to catch them! Tight lines

I really enjoyed the 1996 Christmas edition of 'The Vicar of Dibley' I probably missed it in 1996 but I knew I'd seen it before sometime; only remembered the gist - allowed herself to accept invitations to three dinners LOL.
Thing is, where's the classic equivalent today - what's on now that will be so watch-able in sixteen years time?
Where's our classic sitcoms like this and sketch shows like 'The Fast Show' gone?
