cassese cs 810 air leak

Post by johnlehan »

This is a long shot, we have been using a cassese cs 810 underpinner for about 25years with no problems at all.
we noticed a slight air leak sometime ago and have now decided to try sort it. The air leak is not from an airline but from a block on the right hand side (as you look in from the back, see images). I've highlighted where the leak is. Does anyone know is this is normal as we never noticed it before till a few months ago.

Hi John
No it is not normal for the valve to leak, this NOT valve is the one that returns the hammer to back to its starting position after a wedge has been inserted, if it fails totally the your hammer mechanism will get stuck in the up position.
i have them in stock if you require one:http://underpinner-spares.co.uk/details ... emID=10028
