Post by Abacus » Fri 22 Feb, 2013 10:11 am

I don't seem to have a quote button when viewing the fora via my ipad, is it just me?

I think you'll find you don't have the facility on a PC either! I've just looked at your profile and you're a member of the exclusive "No Quotes" group

I thought you were pulling my leg!

Why would there be a "no quotes" group, and why would I be in it? Am I a serial offender?

You can resign your membership to the group in your control panel.

My post above doesn't make much sense now that the quote in Abacus' post has been removed.

Not any more, nor Abacus, so I presume that it follows that you no longer have the option to leave that group? Everyone else (that I've looked at) in that group, are still in 'registered members' as well.

THAT'S priceless!

I never resign from anything, I always get kicked out :ninja:

As does seem to be the case here, :giggle:

I left the no quote group. Quoted a single post. Was put back in the naughty group. Left the group. Was unable to see any posts at all. Rejoined the no quotes group.

All seems overly complicated to me.

I just want to be able to quote occasionally.

That's not too bad really. I was banned for 2 or 3 weeks for using quotes :head:
