I think I've now got my Cassese 199 working, but could someone just tell me if this is correct:
1) Press Foot Pedal (rebate clamp operates)
2) Press "staple" button (top clamp comes down, wedge is inserted)
3) Release "staple" button (top clamp goes up)
4) Release foot pedal (rebate clamp releases)
That's how mine is operating, but I was under the impression that if you kept the "staple" button pressed during the stroke the top clamp would return on its own, cycling so to speak?
Thanks

When you say, press staple button, do you mean 2nd stage operation on the pedal? Or is there a separate button on yours?

Ah, ok , it's just that the 299 has a 2 stage pedal, which you can use to fire multiple wedges while keeping the clamp on, just takes a little practice from your toes
