Metal frame hangers

Post by ChrisG »

What hangers are there for aluminium frames that enable the frame to sit flush with the wall?

Hardware varies. But if you fix the normal hangers pointing out rather than in..... Some hangers have a screw to lock them in place. These have a keyhole so you can fix the to the top rail (pointing down) and locate them onto screws in the wall. That way the hangings won't be visible. Bit of a faff getting them to perch onto the screws, but with a bit of jiggling.... The screws must be dead level as there is no adjustment.

The channel on the back (required for the corner plates) sits perfectly over a 'Z' bar - on Nielsen frames anyway.
