BTW - It's really good to sort most of your own Christmas shopping gizzits - and definitely all of the cards - from within your own shop, including, for difficult relatives/friends, gift vouchers! (with a 30 day time limit, of course)
I second Robo's remarks - I make my own photo greetings cards anyway, so Christmas cards aren't an issue - I also make calendars which do for the outlying members of the family and a few villagers, and then it's cushions or frames for the rest! Problem this year will be finding the time - I didn't get started early enough!
Youth and experience are no match for age and treachery...
It's been a long time since I visited these pages - but a quick chance to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy, Deepjoyous and Prosperous New Year.
(I've just had an early Xmas present from North Yorkshire police, notice of intention to prosecute, 72 in a 60 on the way up to see my family on Sunday, no excuses, it was me!)
I had one of those 2 years ago for 45 in a 40, on a 3 lane road with no other traffic in sight, was gutted especially since I drive so bloody slowly normally.
I doubt whether any motorist even on a short journey will not go over a speed limit at some point. So I think the police ought to just send every car they see a speeding ticket.
Merry Christmas everyone, hope it is a bumper one.
You are lucky to get the chance to break the speed limit around here, retirement homes and bungalows everywhere. Some days you are lucky to even reach the speed limit during the day.
There's more to the picture, than meets the eye. Hey hey, my my.
