Talking of glues

Post by David McCormack »

I made me some wooden benches four years ago.... no carpentry skills here just screws and glue. The glue I had to hand at the time was Evacon-R so I used that. I recently moved my workshop back home and had to dismantle some of the benches and even with a mallet I couldn't persuade the Evacon-R to give up its grip... the wood gave in before the glue!

Yesterday I had to remove some barrier board from a wooden slip that I'd glued on sometime ago also with Evaco-R. Using water on a brush I successfully removed all the board and the glue, not a trace left!

So it’s very strong and reversible..... cool 8)

He doesn't have a glue what we are on about.
He needs to understand the Tite Bond there is among the forum members and that the humour is double sided. :giggle:
