Hotpress HGP 360 For Sale inc Stand

Post by philm »

Hi all

I have a Hotpress HGP 360 for sale. I have been trying to get a fancy new website developed for the last 18 months and have been ripped off twice for what is a substantial amount of money for me and as a result I am now running out of funds!

I have someone working on the site now (3rd time lucky I hope!!!), and I have paid enough to get the project started but could do with some more ready for the next stage, so I am 'sacrificing' my hotpress!

I bought it off the forum in April 2011 (http://bit.ly/179L59m), and although I have used it most weeks to laminate a small volume of canvas prints it is in excellent condition and has had very little use. My current website does not generate much in terms of order volumes and I do not laminate everything anyway, only if the customer pays and additional amount for it. I have not used it for anything other than laminating canvas either. My premises are very clean and heated so it has been well kept :)

You can see a post from Steve Goodall re: the hotpress when I bought it here re: it's condition, and I have hardly used it since so it remains the same: http://theframersforum.com/viewtopic.ph ... 369#p51380

There are a few small chips out of the paintwork on the front from moving it around between premises but nothing major. The pump and everything works fine and I have never had any issues with it at all. It's a reluctant sale, but for the volume of work that I'm doing at the moment I don't really see much point in keeping it, and I could really do with the money to put to the new site.

There are a few bits with it - the RagMount dry mount is new but the other bits (laminate, foam blanket, release film) are part rolls/used.

You can read more about it, download user manuals etc here: http://www.framersequipment.co.uk/hotpr ... nators.htm

I am located in Melton Mowbray (Leics). Collection would be preferred, but I have a Renault Grand Espace which it will fit in, so if this helps I could maybe sort something with a potential buyer re: delivery if within a reasonable distance and if you are happy to cover the cost of my fuel :)

I am looking for £2395 ono. I am not VAT registered so nothing else to add onto this. I have just had a quick look at the current price of this and at Framers Equipment it is £4695 for the vacuum press and £450 for the stand plus VAT (£6174 in total).

Please feel free to ask any questions

Just a quick update...

I see this has been viewed by quite a lot of people but there has not been a lot of real interest - I would consider offers in the region of £2000.

I don't really want to go much lower than that but if anyone has a realistic offer in mind please feel free to send me a message or email me (phil AT canvascrew.co.uk)

Many thanks!
