Hi
I am considering purchasing one of these pneumatic mount cutters. Can't afford a CMC just yet but want a better method for mount cutting than the keen cut ultimate I currently use ie quicker and more accurate when cutting multiple apertures.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of machine?
Thanks in advance
Matt

We had one before our cmc and loved it. I was actually sorry to see it go, it was a huge step up from a fletcher. If you can, get one with an end trimmer, it is brilliant for sizing the blank before cutting it.

We also had one of these before getting our CMC. We've kept ours as our CMC isn't jumbo board size. We didnt get the end trimmer but we did get the oval/circle cutter and this still proves useful as you can cut oval/circles of glass on it as well as mounts. I would highly recommend it as a very useful time saving machine over a flatbed mountcutter. They are very accurate and easy to use and if a step up to a CMC is too much for you at the moment, this will be a good purchase. Multi aps are easy to do as long as you remember to check your stops before cutting, and it will happily cut triple layer mounts.
