I think I drink too much coffee to accurately trim Kapa and Forex mounted prints with a scalpel (though when there is a 1mm wide section to trim, I have been known to try).
Our auto changing system for scalpels is a tray of freshly loaded handles, which I believe to the untrained eye, look slightly scarey. For really sharp cutting, the .009" backed razor blades are decidedly wicked. Just have to learn to keep my little finger from being twitchy, as it always seems to want to stroke the edge of the razor while I'm using it.

actually what i have done in the past is cut a track with scapel, so through the lam print and into surface of foamex. then stuck in wall cutter and cut through rest, if that makes sense
