Another issue to be aware of is the fact that ALL self adhesive materials have a limited shelf life and that the adhesive qualities which are important at the time of bonding to the artwork diminish over time.
This means that you need to keep your stock turnover to within a reasonable time, so that you are not using self adhesive materials which are already at the end of their usable life.

I agree, with the last comment. I use acrylic glazing in this sort of situation and never had a problem.

Hi All,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies - there are lots of ideas here an obviously shed loads of experience. It's really great to get the benefit of all that knowledge. I'm not 100% certain which route I am going to go down yet, but am in a lot better position than I was before I sent this post.
