Yep, cursor over text, hold down ctrl and rotate mouse wheel - nuffin'. Could it be because I have a wireless keyboard and mouse?

Not sure which OS you are using. I am using VISTA.

As long as my mouse pointer is in the active window, it works for me..

I too have wireless keyboard and mouse.

Ah well, maybe a 2000/vista thing - I dunno - Pat has Vista on her laptop - maybe I'll see if it works on that.

Anyway - back on topic ....

Going by the length of time you've been AWOL Mary, you must have been through it, well you obviously have - Grahame and your husband too.

Hope everything is as settled as it possibly can be.

I did it by copying and pasting to a word document. Thanks for the compliment Bill. Much appreciated. A shame I can't always look that good. My husband didn't recognise me when he saw the photo. Thought I'd downloaded it from the net for a laugh. Then he said " It just shows what you can do if you make an effort" Charming!

Thanks for the kind words, Robo. We have had a bit of a time of it. Scott's had an op so he can be fed directly into his stomach with a liquid feed, instead of the tube he has had up his nose and down his throat for the last 4 years. On his 4th dose of antibiotics for an infection in the wound, but still cheerful. Mum's had abit of a rough time, as some of the Skypers already know. Several heart and angina attacks in the last 2 or 3 months, and her dog died while she was in hospital the first time. However she now has a new dog which just happened to be looking for a home when she felt ready to have a new dog, and the doctors think they have now got her medication sorted. She and my little sister and I had a weekend away, Bank Holiday weekend and we all had a thoroughly lovely time, eating, drinking, more eating, more drinking. Hopefully she'll soon be back to her old self- fit as a fiddle and young at heart.

If the mouse wheel tip does not work, you can use the forum's built-in text size adjustment control located at the upper right corner of the page.
