My new Mittre arrived yesterday. It is a serious piece of machinery. Just practicing with it at the moment. It certainly leaves a glass like finish. It is a bit difficult to see exactly how much is being shaved off but im sure that will come with practice. I think it will also show up how innaccurate the saw is. It has no method of clamping the moulding so Ill need to use a g clamp or similar. Otherwise it will may the moulding forward as it cuts.
It is extremely dangerous to handle. TOO easy to put you hand in the wrong place when lifting. When its fixed to the bench Ill build a housing box around it for safety and it wont be lifted from there. Thanks to everyone for all your input.
