If I try and sell it in a few years will it bring the cost down if I paint it another colour?

That pimpin looks really cool. Was just about to re paint my morso bright orange but am stuck on the process of what to use to take the paint of underneath, if I have to that is. Also what kind of paint to use. Is hammerite the only alternative or is there a place where I can get lots more colours? Have to say the blue and red looks good. Is that hammerite blue?
