just read my last post, sounds like we randomly screwed into the guitar. so here is a pic, removed the four screws and the stainless plate and re attached through the backing.
we have another one in now, customer has seen the last one and liked it.
still haven't had a chance to use your method robo, but have a guitar tutor interested , he has 36 guitars, surly I can get him to have one framed.

It's handy when things have fixings you can use; I wish that people that make things like cast baby feet & hands would think of us framers, wouldn't be difficult to make them with holes on the underside that wire, thread, straps .... whatever, could be passed through.
