Mark, I'd be interested to hear how you cut the 4mm mirror!

Hi Áine,

I cut it on my system 4000, I just score the un-silvered side and push it back either side of the score line so the the system 4000's raised bump causes it to snap along the score line.

Apart from the fact that it takes more force to snap than thinner glass, the process is the same.

The problem with cutting mirror glass is that you have to look at yourself as you are doing it. The lighting in my workshop is particularly cruel :lol:

Tip for selling more mirrors.....

Put a thin piece of card under the rebate, between mirror and frame, in the middle at the top and bottom of the frame. It will bend the mirror ever so slightly. Takes pounds of anyone who looks into it. :wink:

I think I've been in the pie-cupboard to much for that to work for me ;)
