Suggestions for framing a cake topper

Post by DCS »

Apologies if there has already been a thread on this one.
Had an enquiry from someone who makes wedding cakes and cakes for other occasions. She has asked us for a box frames for wedding cake toppers - fine, we can manage that.
She has also asked for see through boxes for christening cake toppers, which I envisage would go onto a plaque with child's name etc.
I thought I had seen something that might be suitable in the Lion catalogue, but now can't find it.
Any suggestions?

You might like to try searching on google for "specimen boxes". It's one of those searches which is likely to generate a really long list of results, but there is an enomous selection of difference types, sizes and specifications for specimen boxes.

I've included one such link from a search below, just to show what I mean:

I hope this will be helpful,

Thank you Mark, that looks to be exactly what I wanted, can just substitute the base with something a bit more decorative!

Is she intending these as a permanent display? They will disintegrate in a year or two. :?

I think that some of the cakes she wants to put in are made from foam so no danger of them disintergrating.
I will need to find out exactly what she wants but would like to get on board with her as she is very pro-active and really pushes her produts so if she does well we do well!
