Rotatrim Professional Series Model M54 (54 inch cut)

Post by Not your average framer »

I'm still clearing out various items which I don't use at the moment, so here's another. It's a Rotatrim Professional Series Model M54 (54 inch cut) guillotine. It's great for triming large sheets of paper, or even thin card, but it's not intended to cut anything as thick as mountboard. Rotatrim still make the M54 and all parts are available on line.

I got it about 20 years ago and it's been well used over the years, so it does not look like new, but does everything that it's supposed to and it does it very well indeed. There's a nut missing at the back of the cutting head and I've been using it for years without the nut without any problems. The missing nut and the cutting head spindle are available on line for £6.24 (inc VAT), but I've never bothered as it works just fine!

The Rotatrim website shows the M54 available as new at £468-00 (inc VAT), or alternative you can have mine for £75. I don't think that it is a practical idea to send this by post.
