Accountant recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good, reliable accountant with some experience in the framing industry (retail and manufacturing)?

Our current accountant is very precise, but we feel that he doesn't always work out the most tax efficient ways for us. He's mostly specialized in the entertainment industry, so maybe not so suitable for us.

We're ideally looking for someone in London. So if anyone has any recommendations, we'd be keen to hear about them.

Thanks. :)

I once asked a senior tax inspector if it would be better for me to get an accountant. He said the accounts I had been submitting myself were fine. And I would have just as much work if I did have an accountant do them. And also, if there were any 'irregularities', it would be me that got it in the neck not him.

Jus' sayin'. :P

Yes, we did all bookkeeping and accounting ourselves to begin with, but as we're getting busier in the workshop we literally find that we don't have the hours in the day to do it ourselves and stay on top of things. And for sure, I could never find the most tax efficient way for my business. We're also looking to go from being a partnership to becoming a limited company, so will need help from someone with that.
