Nice job John. Reminds me of the front runner of my top newspaper headlines of all time - Daily Mirror when John Glenn returned to space at the age of 70 -
' TO OLDLY GO '

Very well presented. A good choice of colour throughout.

See page 3 and page 9 here
http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j& ... NzgXL4Qn0Q But I have not passed the vertical sheet through the mounting board, both sheets wrap around the magazine and are stuck with DS tape to a board cut to the same size as the magazine and then that is stuck to the mounting board with PVA.

Nice one Robo, good choice of moulding.
Can I just ask, did you stitch the patches onto ribbon/cotton tape, and then feed that through slots in the mountboard?

No, they're sewn directly on to the mount board, not all the way around like they would be if sewn on to clothing but about every inch. I have a home-made 'needle-awl' that pre-pierces the holes.

Ah! Cheers Robo. Having sewn patches on bike jackets in the past (in my days as a roughtie-toughtie biker chick), I know that they can be a bit fiddly. Pre-punching the mountboard sounds like a good idea.

This really looks good! As someone new to framing it is great to see examples of peoples work especially when they demonstrate a particular style or method of framing. Having a link to the method from the example is even more amazing! If anyone found the time or has the inclination to demostrate further mounting/framing tecniques through examples of their work it would be gratefully recieved.
