Wanted Keen Cut Gold 40"/1000
Nice ,clean, working condition, with all accessories and I am prepared to travel a reasonable distance to collect
Will pay fair price for a good example

Good price paid for a nice machine.
Must be 40"/1000, for space reasons.
Will travel reasonable distance to collect, so no packing problems for potential sellers

You might find this size cutter a bit hard to find as most folks go for the 48.

Yes, I am aware of that and parted with a 48" model myself.
They do exist and I recently just missed one, very close to me.
Hence my "wanted" listing

New Venture seems to have gone on Holiday or something, certainly no reply to my emails.

There is an Ultimate 40" (pre gold) on ebay now for £400 for collection in Guildford.

Hello JW,
Many thanks for the tip ref. the E-Bay listing for a 40" Keen Cut.
Having used the later model with fine adjustment to start and end of cut, etc. I would prefer one of those if possible.
The E-Bay listing model looks a little tired, signs of wear in the obvious places

There was another one listed also in Guildford that was a Gold model, but without a size specified.

Have sent an e mailed request for confirmation of the length of the other Guildford located Mount Cutter, but no reply.
I do not understand why people list things for sale and do not respond to enquiries. A sign of the time, perhaps?

Still no luck in my search for the elusive 40" mount cutter
How about expanding the search to include a 40" Fletcher 2200 ?
Any one have a nice example of this, surplus to requirements
