If you're in a good area and have local auctioneers near you, it might be worth checking out what's on offer. Not every auctioneers is the same, but our local one is a good 'un.
I've just bought nine "brand spanking new" Arqadia swept gilt frames, (nice ones too), for £55.59 including commission, etc. The sizes are:
12" x 16" (3 frames)
16" x 20" (1 frame)
20" x 24" (2 frames)
20" x 30" (2 frames)
36" x 48" (1 frame) - Stunning art deco one!
The bevelled mirrors arrive tomorrow from Solid Glass (Nice deal too!).
Guess what's going in the windows this weekend?
Our local auction usually has a few local paintings or prints too! I always leave a bid, so no one knows it me bidding, as I assume the punters might think I would would know what to bid on.
