Framing a flag and a hat

Hi,

I had a message on the phone from some lady asking if I can frame a flag and a hat, whilst I haven't rung them back yet has anyone ever framed a flag & hat?

I've had a look through my Vivian Kistler books and while flags are mentioned, no mention of how you frame a hat.

Thanks!

Depends how big the hat is. :? A floppy cap would be reasonably easy. Rigid one might be tricky.

Flags are sometimes framed folded and I think there is a strict convention for doing this. Otherwise if you framed it fully unfurled you could end up with a huge frame.

You might gain a bit of insight here - http://www.thegrumble.com/. They do a lot of flag-framing in the US.

Hey, this is one we did not too long back. Used a perspex dome and deep rebated moulding (a Simons moulding from the PHOE range [if I remember rightly])

Smiffy,

Can I ask where you sourced the Perspex dome from?
