Bronte Porcelain

I have put this on not because of the standard of design and framing but just to show the subject matter. This is an oil painting on a porcelain tile - apparently the oil paint, when initially applied, is a different than seen here and only obtains the desired colours after firing in a kiln. The standard of painting is fantastic; when I first saw it I thought it must be a photo.
The company, Bronte Porcelain, is in Malvern (about 10 miles from me) and produce some impressive art on porcelain - some of their painters are former employees of Worcester Porcelain.

For interest the frame is Arqadia 442700000 inner and Arqadia 684167348 outer, no glass.

very effective never thought of a slip on that moulding. However I gave up on 442700000 a long time ago as it chips very badly post framing. I have had a lot brought back by galleries who found it didn't stand up to the rigours of exhibitions. The simons version was much better either.

Maybe my typing let me down over the code for the inner moulding. Will check when back in shop tomorrow.

That outer moulding is the only finished stuff I have bought lately. To replace ones that people bring in with chippy corners.
Very popular with undertakers.

Robo is absolutely correct - the inner is 47434800. My weak excuse is I was looking at the wrong jobsheet when originally typing the post.
