Making a clipframe with no clips...?!

Hi all,
Apologies if I'm asking a previous answered question, but we've had an enquiry today for a clipframe (36" x 24") - nothing odd there, HOWEVER the customer doesn't want to see any clips. Other criteria is:
Matt Perspex
Not heavy
Has anyone any thoughts on how this could be attained - all I can think is to screw it from the back through some thickish wood and thickish perspex, so all you'd see would be the thread of the screw - then you're getting into taps and dies.
All suggestions greatfully received.
Regards,
Sean
