We are looking to hire a part-time picture framer to work in our shop in Tufnell Park, North London. The position is available to a hard working, enthusiastic individual with at least 3 years experience in conservation framing. We have a solid client base of collectors, galleries and artists so you will frequently be framing exhibition work and private collections to a high standard and handling valuable artwork. You must be competent, reliable, be able to work accurately under pressure and have the ability to complete framing jobs from start to finish.
The shop has a friendly and artistic atmosphere, so the right candidate must be sociable and comfortable with dealing with the public, as well as having good spoken and written English.
We need a minimum commitment of three days a week, but there is always going to be more work on offer should you need it. Pay negotiable depending on experience.
