Yesterday I received an email enquiring if there was a position available in my company.
on investigating further it turned out to be a fake with a zipped attachment that contained a virus.
the laptop I used to open the file is now being taken care of. It looks like some Executives in The US
has had his email hacked and is sending out these messages.
So just for all your attentions be on the look out.

I never open Zips in emails end of. I have noticed quite a few word doc attachments from very English looking companies saying my invoice was due to be paid. Again unless its from a a company I know and in a format that they usually send me I don't open it, it goes straight in the bin.

I still have a parcel waiting in a sorting depot in Arizona.

AG is right. Never open an attachment or click a link unless you know who it's come from and are expecting it.

I received the email as well but noticed that the date was in US format (month then day) so deleted it without opening it.

I've had several of these in the last few weeks, from various names, some of them plausible. Mostly the email address has been from Russia, occasionally from South Africa. They've gone automatically into my Junk folder, which I delete every other day or so.
