Hi. I've been trying to track down a really thin oak moulding and wondered if anyone here could point me to any suppliers they think will have it. I've been looking at all the usual suspects online to no avail, and have a feeling the supplier is possibly not online.

The only 12mm wide oak moulding I seem able to find has a cushion profile and this is definitely NOT what I want. Otherwise they are all 15mm wide. I've got the moulding infront of me so it definitely exists (or did at the time the picture was framed - which was only a couple of years ago I think).

The info is: 12mm wide, 12mm deep, with I think a 7mm rebate though I've not taken the picture out of the frame to confirm this. The profile is completely flat with no beveling or rounding off of the corners at all.

The moulding has a bigger brother too, which is 22mm wide by 22mm deep. Again, no attempt to soften the corners at all.

Hoping someone knows where to get this from. Thank you.

If you can deal with another 0.7 of a mm, Wessex do one.

How about A&T 12152.OAK and 44130.OAK. I use countless amounts of 58130.OAk but that is 15mm x 18mm... lovely moulding tho... but a PITA to work with as it is so hard

Thank you both for these suggestions. This is awesome. I've gone from despairing that I'd track the moulding down to discovering there are possbly umpteen options.

I intend to get hold of some chevrons for all of these potentially. I'll certainly follow them all up. Big thank you everyone.
