glass collection

Post by jon buck »

Is anyone aware of a glass collection company in the Herefordshire (Hay on Wye) area or would the local council be a better idea ?

Thanks Jon

Wessex have a waste glass collection on their van service, you have to use their own boxes and pay a yearly fee I think?

What do you do with the rest of your waste? It will all be classed as commercial so you should have a commercial collection and duty of care compliance for all of it.

Well just hope no one finds out you can get big fines for dumping commercial waste at a domestic tip and not being duty of care compliant.

And I certainly wouldn't be admitting to that on a public forum with you web address and details in your signature.

I use quickskip based in Hereford, they provide a wheelie bin and will accept glass, cardboard, mountboard and wood waste. for the size I have its £6 plus vat a collection very reasonable if you ask me. I am sure they cover your location.
