Post by Glimpse »

Can anyone help with this please, sorry about image quality... I think it's around 3" wide but we're looking for something very similar but 2".

Thanks!

I think this is a Simons moulding, they did it in 3 sizes (approx 1",2",3" wide) but no idea if they still do them.

I use the unfinished 3" version from Simons often. Don't think there is a smaller version.

But if you have a table saw it's not rocket science to rip it down to size. If the edge is a bit
ragged, all the better.

Or..... Get a smaller smooth pine moulding and knacker it a tad.

Not difficult!

Large version is Simons 1504 2103 (just over 3 inches wide)

Medium version is Simons 1507 2103 (just over 2 inches wide)

Small version is Simons 1504 2104 (just over 1 inch wide)

There are other colours in the range. If you are thinking of doing a handfinishing job with this, get a moulding with the white finish as paint sticks to the white better than the other colours.
