Hair dryer to remove dust

One of the guys in the workshop the other day wanted to get a hairdryer on a cool setting to remove bits of dust etc before sealing up a frame.

My instinct is that it's not a great idea. Has anyone tried it? or does anyone have a better reason why it's a bad idea other than my instinct?

Thanks,

andrew

IMHO not a good idea. You would be blowing one lot of dust away and wafting in a lot more behind it
and generally filling the room with airborne dust.
The less air movement when assembling the better. I don't even move around more than I need to.

A clean decorator's brush (kept for the exclusive purpose) is sometimes handy for flicking any specks away.
