They used to send Smarties, and/or Lion bars every order but then it seemed to stop and start - and they would be the first thing I'd look for - once I'd got to the bottom of the box - kit everywhere - to find nothing, I'd get mad chocolate cravings and have to dash out and buy some.

Never ever join the chocolate tasting club - you could need counselling to get out of it, like I did!

I love chocolate

Any chance they would do an airmail delivery to Cape Town ??

Once received a box of cherry liquers from one supplier but it being summer here and the delivery guy having been in the car all day, when I opened it up it was just a runny mess. Devoured it on the spot by dipping the fingers into the box.

Any chocolate lovers that haven't yet discovered Duc d'O truffles, go find out what you're missing. Dominic, the greatest chocoholic I've ever met (connoisseur grade!) introduced me to them. They're divine......

(For anyone near Devizes, Edwin Giddings offie/deli used to stock them. Yummmmmm!!!!! :D )

Sorry, already I'm totally addicted to high class chocolate in any form you name. One of my customers has already found that I can be persuaded to do rush jobs, by giving me a box of Belgium chocolates.

It's so very hard to say no!

Thanks John but in our mickeymouse money that translates into R 70 and R 210 per item. Not worth the freebie choc so we'll pass on that and save the money for next year when I visit my daughter in London so I can search for some of that stuff Áine is talking about.

Will do if I can keep the wife away from the perfume shops. ( off topic - going to see my daughter who is a special effects artist and started work on Tuesday as a stage manager at Lion King in the west end - been a lifelong dream of hers)

Double or quits

Tell you what - my brother sends me the Hotel Chocolat Christmas selection (4 tier) every year - standing order cop-out - that's how I got hooked into their tasting club - responded to a flyer within.

I'll see if I can keep a complete tier for Birmingham - bring something to compare.

I'll take that action!

Can't promise, but I'll try and get hold of some of their Christmas Pudding Truffles for you to sample in Birmingham. People who don't really like chocolate have expressed profuse gratitude to me for giving them as prezzies! 8)
