Living in this rural and intensive corn/wheat growing neck of the woods they are an all round aggravation until after the harvest, then they disappear.
Framing everyday images using the "sandwich" method solves the problem of them crawling under the glass and entering the package. I am aware this has been discussed at length in previous threads. But;
My question is how to keep them out of framed and mounted sports shirts? How do I seal the frames when using spacers? or do I just seal in the glass? otherwise, I can see problems coming down the line.
Any advice/comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated
If it's any use, it is a fact that they always invade from the front. So taping the glass to the frame as Timh says would go a long
way to keeping them out. A strip of fillet tape would work. Or 12mm d/s sliced down the middle.
I had come to that conclusion. It's just that somehow, taping in the glass goes against the grain, as I can't think of another way that's what I will do.
