Hey guys, I'm making some large picture frames for some friends which require matting but I'm having a hard time finding anything that will fit. One of the frames will house four posters that are 9x13 inches so I'll need a mat that is about 44 inches wide and 17 inches tall. The largest I can find online is 40x30 from wholesalematboards.com. Can anyone recommend where to get this stuff? I'm fine with cutting the mat board myself.

You need a 40 x 60 sheet
Go to Crescents website http://www.crescentpro.com/distributors/
Click on New York - they have plenty of distributors in NY state.
Whether they will sell you a sheet is the next question.
If they decline, ask a local framer to get you a sheet with their next order
