Hi All,
I am a practising artist living near Lincoln and have run a business as a picture framer many years ago and still have some equipment. I haven't done any framing for a while and I used to use Mitrecraft, who as you will know are no longer trading. Can anyone tell me of a supplier where I can purchase very small quantities of moulding, mount board and glass in Lincolnshire?

Not quite Lincolnshire but I bet they have a van route through there... Centrado in Huntingdon.

Yes, minimum is normally around £80 for most of the 'van run' companies... but then a pack of mountboard, a couple of sticks of moulding, a couple of sheets of glass and some backing board along with some other 'sundries' you are normally there or thereabouts.

I am in South Lincs' and get a weekly delivery from Wessex, Dereham branch. Unfortunately they do not go up as far as Lincoln . but I believe the Oldham branch (tel; 0161 681 2959) do deliver in to Lincoln .

Wessex are well worth considering they stock a comprehensive range and will supply in smaller quantities. I get a first class service from them. Expect a delivery charge for smaller orders. Sorry I don't know what that amount is. Why not request a catalogue for all the info'.

They deliver to me from the Oldham branch and they have to go though/past Lincoln to get here.

I’m ordering from Lion all the time. I can order in single lengths if you want. Give me a call.
